7/31/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved 1.Behavior: QMHP-C greeted Layla upon arrival to the home setting. Upon arrival to the home setting, Layla appeared to be in good mood evident by her facial expressions such as a smile on the face and engaging in general conversation with QMHP-C. QMHP-C informed Layla that this session was going to focus on her anger management. 2. Behavior: Layla participated in the session and did not need any redirection from QMHP-C. Layla expressed how she was going to continue to work on her anger and learn from the trouble she has gotten herself in such as her self-inflicting behaviors. 1. Intervention: QMHP-C began the session by inquiring about Layla’s current thoughts, feelings and emotions. QMHP-C discussed with Layla methods to controlling her frustrations and learning pro-social behaviors to avoid negative interactions with peers. QMHP-C confronted Layla consistently and firmly when exhibiting an attitude of disrespect and rudeness toward the rights and feelings of others. 2. Intervention: QMHP-C modeled to Layla cooperative and respectful behaviors rather than acting out inappropriately. QMHP-C taught Layla the positive effects of being honest and reliable as it pertains to building interpersonal skills through modeling appropriate behaviors. QMHP-C taught Layla the value of taking full responsibility for her behavior's and learning to admit her wrongdoings and behaviors were reviewed. 1. Response: Layla appeared to be receptive to QMHP-Cs’ interventions and services that were provided to her during the session. Layla struggles with positive peer relationships and engaging in healthy interpersonal skills. Layla shut down when confronted about her attitude and disrespectful behaviors. Layla became quiet and slowly began to communicate with QMHP-C. 2. Response: Layla verbalized that she knows how to react to peers but when angry and frustrated she reports that she doesn't use coping skills as learned. Layla discussed with QMHP-C that she has difficulty with being dishonesty as she manipulates situations for her own benefit which causes trouble building healthy friendships. Layla further discussed with QMHP-C, “I just don’t trust people”.
